preparing marinated mussels


For Spanish dinners this marinated mussels recipe is a great make-ahead appetizer; It will definitely be the biggest hit of every special gathering

Ingredients (serves 4 people)

  • 1. 1800 g | 63 ozmussels


  1. 1. Wash the mussels under cold running water, remove the beards and scrape off any deposits.Discard anyshells alreadyopened.

  2. 2. Heat the butter in a pan and cook the onion with the bayleaves and thyme for a few minutes over a medium heat until translucent.

  3. 3. Add the mussels and wine.Cover the pan, bring to a boil and cook for 4-5 minutes until all the mussels are open.Discard anymussels that don’t open.

  4. 4. Add the cream and stir in the parsley. Serve immediately
